Terms of service.
Animal Shipping: Animals purchased through the website must be shipped with “Live Animal Shipping” as a selected option. The buyer will receive an email regarding organizing shipping, and animals will be shipped to a local FedEx Hub.
Animals will be held until size or weather permits shipping. Refunds will not be given if shipping (for any reason) takes longer than initially expected, as weather is not in the control of the seller. Additionally, delays are not the fault of the seller, but rather the shipping company. Refunds will not be given if delays occur unless issues arise and the seller and buyer come to an agreement.
Shipping is viable when the weather is between 40 and 85 degrees, and shipping to a hub is preferred unless absolutely necessary. If the weather does not permit, the seller will hold onto the animal until the weather allows for shipping at no expense to the buyer. Winter and summer holds do NOT incur extra fees.
In the case of a DOA, colored photos must be sent to the seller within one hour of the package's arrival to the buyer's nearest hub. Do not dispose of the animal until further notice, as in some cases, insurance requires proof of a deceased animal. Live arrival is guaranteed, and will be insured as long as the terms above are met.
Animals are shipped Priority Overnight with NO exceptions, and will be packaged safely, securely and appropriately in an insulated box, with temperature control appropriate for the species in question
Tail drops are not common during shipping, but in the case that an animal drops a tail, there will be no refund. Tail dropping is a natural defense mechanism, and may be carried out if an animal feels threatened. This is not under the control of the seller.
Purchases and Reservations: Animals for sale can be reserved. Animals under 200 dollars (NOT including shipping) are to be reserved with a 50 percent NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, to be paid off completely in 30 days unless otherwise discussed. The only exceptions are if the sale does not go through due to an issue on the seller's end. A change of mind does not warrant a refund. Animals above 200 dollars are to be reserved with a 30 percent NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, to be paid off completely in 30 days unless otherwise discussed. The same exceptions apply. Animals will not be shipped until the entire sum is paid completely.
If the buyer fails to pay off the sum by the end of the agreed date without consultation or notice, surrender their reservation and non-refundable deposit. The seller has the right to relist this animal.
Sex: Sex is not guaranteed on animals that are listed as “baby” or “juvenile”. Subadult and Adult animals’ sex are guaranteed unless otherwise stated. Refunds/returns are not warranted for improper sexing of animals listed as “baby” or “juvenile”.
Wild Caught Animals: On occasion, wild caught specimens of select species may be available. Wild caught animals are not perfect. They may come with scarring, minor wounding, mites, or parasitic loads in their gut. This is not uncommon, but is to be dealt with by someone with experience. Breeders looking to breed and propagate these species’ will be considered first and foremost, as wild caught animals do not make good pets. Wild caught animals may need extra or specialized care. However, animals that the seller feels are in bad condition will never be sold. The animals are often treated prior to selling, and the seller will disclose any treatments the animal has undergone.
Extra: If a buyer has issues with an animal, they may be questioned on their care, routines, and techniques. If a buyer is obviously responsible for issues with their animal, the seller is not responsible.
